Timothy A. Christie, CFA
Managing Partner


Tim has over 25 years experience across a wide variety of industries and disciplines. His focus is on helping companies make the right strategic decisions and creating a framework for greatly increasing the probability of success.  His experience across the broad sector of M&A (including organic growth, alliances, joint ventures, partnerships and venture investment) comes through when evaluating opportunities for clients.


Tim's previous experience includes Corporate Development roles with RBC Bank (Royal Bank of Canada) and First Data, and consulting experience in Fintech, Financial Services, Payments, Industrial Products and Non-Profits.  An excellent facilitator, he has spoken at numerous conferences and seminars on topics ranging from International Business through Mergers & Acquisitions.

Tim completed his MBA at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, and his Undergraduate Degree in Political Science and Economics at Queen's University (Canada).  He is a Charterholder of the CFA Institute, and serves on the Technology Association of Atlanta (TAG) Corporate Development Society Board.

Christy is a career Management Consultant with a Big 4 consulting background and 25+ years of experience in M&A, Corporate Strategy, and Corporate Development.  To date, Christy has led mergers and acquisitions valued in excess of $44 billion across a variety of industries, company types and deal sizes ranging from $50M to $15B.

Over her extensive career, Christy has supported a variety of company types, sizes, and operating models; however, she has focused the past 5+ years on supporting Private Equity and middle market companies.  Specifically, Christy has leveraged the “best of” her Big 4 experience to develop an M&A acquisition and integration methodology that meets the unique needs and expectations of the PE environment and, most importantly, accelerates speed to value.

Christy is passionate and enthusiastic about helping her clients develop M&A strategies that are aligned to the corporate strategy and growth targets; in addition to, expertly leading/driving due diligence, integration planning, legal day 1, and integration execution for M&A targets. 

​

When engaged for the acquisition and integration of a target, Christy will ensure delivery of the deal thesis and intended benefits while also protecting the customer and employee experience.  Additionally, her unique approach to integration planning typically results in additional cost saves and synergies found that can range from $500K-$1.5M for a small-to-medium sized acquisition.

​

For the past several years Christy has served as the Secretary of the Board for the Corporate Development Society of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG).  In her personal time, Christy loves spending time with her family and playing golf!
